Iran has publicly denied reports of a ceasefire agreement with Israel, contradicting statements made by U.S. sources, including former President Donald Trump, who earlier claimed that a “complete and total ceasefire” had been reached.

According to Iranian officials, no ceasefire has been agreed upon and military operations will continue. A senior Iranian spokesperson declared that Tehran would not entertain negotiations while facing active aggression. Iran’s leadership emphasized that any public mention of a ceasefire is an attempt to confuse and manipulate international perception, calling it psychological warfare.

In the past 24 hours, various U.S. media outlets and political figures have circulated news of a phased ceasefire supposedly being implemented over the next day. However, Iran’s response has been firm. The country has stated it is fully prepared for prolonged engagement and is not in a position to discuss truce arrangements.

Military movements continue across key fronts. Iranian forces remain on high alert, and there are no signs of a de-escalation. Warnings have also been issued that Iran could block the Strait of Hormuz if pressure escalates, signaling the strategic stakes involved.

Meanwhile, the United Nations and various international actors are calling for immediate restraint and diplomatic resolution. Iran, however, maintains that any diplomatic conversation must come after their response to what they label acts of aggression is completed.

As it stands, there is a clear divide between U.S. announcements of peace and Iran’s firm denial. The battlefield remains active, and the prospects of an actual ceasefire appear distant.
